HIDDEN FRUITS
HIDDEN FRUITS
SCOPE
SCOPE
Hidden Fruits came to us as a small, homemade treat with big ambitions. Freshly frozen raspberries coated in Belgian chocolate, made by husband and wife team Fiona and Manuel from their own kitchen, the product was already loved by those who'd tried it. What it needed was a brand identity that could carry it from home kitchen to national retail shelves.
We built the visual identity from the ground up, creating a system rooted in the raspberry itself: rich, indulgent colours, a bold serif logo and a continuous line-drawn illustration style that could flex across packaging, social and web.

PROBLEM
PROBLEM
Hidden Fruits needed to look as premium as it tasted. The brand had to hold its own next to established names on supermarket shelves while staying true to its founders' story of foraging, chocolate and family.
It also needed a system built for growth. With new retailers, new flavours and new formats on the horizon, the identity had to flex beyond raspberries into strawberries, blackberries and whatever came next, without ever losing what made Hidden Fruits recognisable.

We developed the full Hidden Fruits identity, from the primary and secondary logos and brandmark through to a considered colour palette built around deep chocolate and raspberry tones, custom typography pairings and a set of continuous line illustrations that tell the brand's story.
From there we built out the guidelines and applied the identity across packaging, social templates and web design, giving the team a clear framework to keep every touchpoint consistent as the brand scales.

OUTCOME
OUTCOME
Since launch, Hidden Fruits has grown from an independent product with no retail presence beyond Gopuff into a brand stocked in 90 Sainsbury's stores, with that number rising to 157 by the end of October. A launch with another major retailer is following in mid October, alongside continued growth on Gopuff and through independent stockists.
The identity has given Hidden Fruits the credibility and shelf presence to compete with established names, while keeping the warmth and story of two founders still making everything themselves.

I couldn't recommend Steph more highly.
We chose to work with Steph because of her talent as an illustrator as well as graphic designer. Her work was consistently presented in such a professional manner, she was great at communicating timelines and always so friendly. She absolutely nailed our brief and we are beyond excited to get our new branding and packaging launched!
